Tomorrow is Halloween, and kids all over the U.S. are getting ready to fill their bags with candy while showing off their costumes. We hope you’ve already signed up to participate in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, but if you haven’t, it’s not too late! You can still download the DIY Fundraising Kit and set up an online fundraising page.
Kids like to be helpful, and being involved with UNICEF is a great way to teach them about reaching out to help children around the world.
Did you know?
- Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF began in 1950, and since then, U.S. kids have raised more than $170 million.
- 91.2 cents of every dollar raised through the U.S. Fund for UNICEF goes directly to helping children.
- UNICEF promotes healthy learning environments where children are supported, empowered, and kept safe.
- In the United States, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF provides opportunities to advocate, fundraise, and volunteer on behalf of children in other countries.
What a fantastic way to show children how they can help improve the lives of other children! It’s the perfect way to begin this traditional season of giving and service.
We wish you and yours a fun, happy, and safe Halloween!
