We all have a stake in the outcomes of climate change. Former Vice-President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore’s grassroots organization, The Climate Reality Project, has everyone from students to business leaders to play their part in building awareness and action to face and help manage the impact of climate change.
24 Hours of Reality: The Dirty Weather Report
This live streamed event will take place this year in Los Angeles on October 22. Al Gore recently announced that the organizers of 24 Hours of Reality have spent the past year “traveling around the world to explore the reality of the climate crisis and tell some of the countless stories of how it’s transforming lives and how people are joining together to do something about it.”
Last year 24 Hours of Reality broke the world record for most viewers of a live online event with more than 17 million online views, and won 10 prestigious Telly Awards for excellence in online content. In 2013, the Climate Reality Project wants to reach even more people to get the message out!
Social Good Summit
You don’t have to wait until October 22nd, The Climate Reality Project will be co-hosting the first-ever climate segment at this year’s Social Good Summit in New York City on September 23rd, and Al Gore will be giving a keynote address.
