Giving Girls the Tools to Thrive
When I need information, I go straight to my smartphone to find what I’m looking for. For millions of girls around the world without internet access, smartphones, or electricity, accessing information is not so easy. Every Mother Counts is Hosting the Summer of Sisterhood!

We Stand With Malala

In her first public speech since being shot by the Taliban in Pakistan a year ago, on July 12th Malala will lead a gathering of young adults from more than 80 countries for a special United Nations Youth Assembly.
Making Childbirth Safer
The miracle of childbirth is unforgettable. When you gave birth, probably a doctor, nurse or midwife was there at every step, telling you what to expect and reassuring you that everything would be okay. Your husband or partner or best friend was there, too, holding your hand. Fear, excitement, pain and ‘please can this be over!’ all hit you at once. But in the end, you delivered a beautiful baby and it was all worth it.
